A traditional herbal remedy also known as Geranium, Kalwerbossie or Rabassam, that has been used in South Africa for many generations.
Extensive clinical research has been done on extractions of Pelargonium sidoides DC5 over the years and has confirmed the medicinal uses and safety of this plant by the people in the Eastern Cape for various respiratory diseases, highlighting its significant antibacterial, antifungal and even antiviral properties.
